Itinerary for Sri Lanka Whale Watching Expedition
March 20, 2025: Arrival in Colombo
Arrive in Colombo and embark on a scenic 6-hour transfer to the resort.
Check-in to your beach chalet and unwind as you settle into your picturesque surroundings.
March 21-26, 2025: Whale Watching Excursions
Early morning departures for daily excursions into the open ocean, each lasting approximately six hours.
Explore the vast marine expanse, seeking encounters with awe-inspiring creatures such as Blue Whales, Sperm Whales, Pilot Whales, and Bryde's Whales.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided onboard in the form of a packed box, allowing you to savor delicious meals while immersed in the beauty of the open sea.
Return to the resort in the afternoon, allowing time to relax and rejuvenate.
Dinner will be served at the resort, providing a perfect ending to each day filled with extraordinary marine adventures.
March 27, 2025: Leisure Day and Departure
Enjoy a day of rest and relaxation at the resort.
In the afternoon, depart from the resort for your departure flight, cherishing the memories of an enchanting whale-watching experience in the waters of Sri Lanka.

Whale expedition package
This is strictly a snorkeling and free diving expedition. Competency in swimming is essential.
Whale watching / swimming will be conducted for 6 days with an average of 6 hours per session subject to weather condition.
There will be 1 guide to 2 boats. Maximum 4 guests per boat.
Charges for additional hour in the sea (after 6 hours) - USD $100 per hour per boat
Code of conduct set by naturalist must be followed at all time and decision by the naturalist is final.
Based the track records, chances of a whale encounter is exceptionally high. However, there are NO GUARANTEE and refunds, It’s the WILD. Mother nature has the final say.

The Boat
With just 4 rigid plastic chairs on the boat, everything is bare minimum. Efficient speed and sea manoeuvrability are paramount.
Breakfast and Lunch will be packed on the boat.
Drinking water and towel will be provided.
